Groupers are a large family of fish known for their stout body and large mouth. Some are small enough to fit into large aquariums while others can grow in excess of 500 pounds. The artist captures this stocky formed animal with a seaworthy blue body. The rusty colored metal fins and distressed finish make it look as those this piece has been by the sea for a generation.
